Pink Polka Blouse and Layers

Been very long, pretty loooooooooooooong, but those who have been reading my posts, will know that I have been absent for a while bcoz of my work. I am NOT Super efficient like many bloggers who work and yet manage to find time for penning down their thoughts. I seriously feel SMALL when compared to their highly innate ability to juggle chores.
But don't get me wrong for feeling low, nope, not when I am super-busy, trying my hands at all things (issues ) life can throw at me, and yet I try and read all fb posts and cheer myself up, to imagining myself to be a superwoman of my home.
Thanks for my fellow bloggers who managed to lemme know they cared.

World Record Fireworks in Dubai

Hello dear blog buddies,
How have you been? Good? Yes I hope it's good, well you say No !!! , hey it's fine we all have good and bad days, just let the ones not in control pass by, you know you gave it your best. Ain't it.
Lately, my life has just been hectic and all about feeling tired, each day, with multiple tasks ahead, but I know,it's all a matter of organizing to achieve results. So to all you folks, feeling incomplete with all the errands up the shoulder accruing each day, may be, just maybe it's all about prioritizing..
Look at me, today I just feel,my day is gonna be better with a blog post to start with, which had been pent up for long.So here comes my pics that had been clicked exactly around the start of the New year 2014. :D
We went to watch the fireworks, it was a World record( Previous record held by Kuwait ). We loved the view. It was surreal and felt like a dream. But I couldn't stand out long b'coz it was very very cold, so enjoyed the view from the car while we had a ride along the path. The moment was just AMAZING !!!

Tank top and Chilly Weather

Merry Christmas Folks !!!

I have been missing for over 10 days. Why you ask? Well these were the reasons, I was sick to start with, then when I became fine,my hubby got sick, and we all were fine, we were out partying with friends, and to top it all, I just got myself involved into a small business of mine, which is taking up all my time.

I still am pretty tied up with Work,Work-outs (phew),my little munchkin going (see this...see that...a 1000 times a day),my housework, cooking,I am dead meat by the night. It's extremely hectic, but I still am loving the journey.

I bought this lovely tank top recently, and i played the complete outfit around it. And i took these pics in a chilly weather of 16 degrees, but the winds made it feel 14 degrees...my eyes and nose were watering while I did this photoshoot while I was watching everyone walking in sweaters... Crazy me..haan.....yup, but I was smart enough to not let the  side effects appear on the pictures ( Smart girl..yea me....will bear the icy weather for a blog post) Look at what u guys make me do...lol....jus kiddin.......
It's just me

Pin Striped Skirt and Boots

WILTED PAIN

I cried in pain,

Everyday as tears flow in vain,

Why do mortals hurt deeper,

Are we weaker?

Should we just sit and weep,

Remembering how we fell the slope steep,

No , I restrain the temptations to sulk,

Not anymore, the devil could be the hulk,

But with the flowing waters, the stone erodes,

With the flowing emotions, the power to life I rode.

Yes i write poetry, I used to write a lot when I fell in love back at school with my then boyfriend[Now husband], and now seldom i pen poems, this is one of them :)
I was out for the movie "Hunger Games-Catching Fire", and boy I regretted my choice...I just wasted my time on it.
I transformed a skirt i have into a dress, belted it ans just wore a grey cardigan..TADAAAA!!!!! We have an outfit, you could try this with any of your long skirts.

Woollen Pencil Skirt

Do we ever take something/someone for granted?Perhaps yes, perhaps No, but for certain , our parents do fall under that category. How often we feel frustrated over petty things, just because they haven't provided it to us, the first time we had asked for it in childhood. Tantrums are common at that age, but what about adulthood?
Do we take our friends/spouse/children for granted? This is a question that revolves around us, throughout our lives. I know how such attitude could lead to disputes, only because over time we start getting comfortable , getting the things without any question, that it's absence renders us into anger and frustration. Frustration is caused by disappointments, many instances in life we expect too much or too little from humans surrounding us.The latter makes us happy in surprise while the former sends us into sadness. It's always best to keep moving forward, with just expectations only from oneself, rest will happen over time, this attitude , though quoted easily than implemented, is something even I myself find " challenging".As humane we are made to be, as a person who listens to heart more, than logical reasoning , it becomes difficult, but once you let learn to calm down your self, whenever you have this disappointment, and temporarily focus on some other activity, you will soon learn to tackle being independent.
There are many benefits to having this attitude

  • You have lesser frustrating days [ Read expectation]
  • You find you are stronger than what you imagined yourself to be.
  • You will see , that you are the reason for your failure and not others.
  • People around you feel more comfortable and understanding.
  • Lesser quarrels
  • You learn to appreciate , what is at hand
There are many more benefits to this, and it's not to be listed but rather experienced. So why don't you practice being self-sufficient sooner(If you are already! then way to goooo!!!) the better.
To have a retrospective seldom on self -analysis, is a sure initiative to a positive living.

Festivities and Fall Seeping In : Red Tank as Skirt

The best part of the year is definitely after august, had I been in India it would be the rains, followed by the cool winters, we have moderate climate down south,as it's a coastal area, Being in Dubai, the autumn just crept up slowly, with temperatures dropping down to 28-26{from the scorching 40's}, and soon, as it keeps dropping, i get to layer dresses(yup yup ).But don't even get me started on the mountains of laundry and folding i gotta do , with this interest of mine, well hehe...I love my clothes too much that i'd not try to  feel lazy and dress repetitively than dynamically.
I don't know why, i love the winters more than the summer, and the rainy seasons the most. Maybe since i hail from the humid city, winters have never really been a part of experience, ever since i shifted from bangalore( Oh I miss b'lore for the climate), but Dubai compensates for it with 6 months of chilly to cool days (happy me)
I secretly even long playing with snow( which I have never done.... Paris is my dream visit) .{Hubby dear... you READING this ,wink ;-) }
As I look forward to the transition in climate and my body (regular readers know i am on a weight-reduction journey), i bring you the last of my summer wear.
Here I used my red tank top as a skirt, and loved it....check it out and lemme know what you think.

Half Saree Woes

It was last week-day(Gulf week days are from Sunday to Monday), and I always have a relaxed feel towards that time.
1.No waking up early and running around.
2.Time for some music and dance groove.
Generally I dress up chic or party/groovy kind. But today I wanted something Desi(country-Indian ) style. So first up on my mind was to dress up in a long skirt, matching blouse and dance for tunes..to "Sheela ki jawani " kind of masala songs, but as i put on my accessories, blouse etc..I don't know what happened, i rather ended up looking traditional in a Half Saree. Half-saree is more of southern Indian wear, and i fancied it during my childhood, and today I was IT.
I was skeptical at first , but both my beau and sonny were praises, and so I asked my hub's to shoot some pics...and POOF("He disappeared...he was in no mood, after office."). Then poor me asked my ever enthusiastic son, and I know- he knows nothing of photography..but he was clicking away the camera...@ a speed of 5 clicks per second (he was doing it like as if he was  in a sinking ship caught in a storm.)
Result:- utterly blurry images , but I am always a proud mommy..my dearest as always TRIED....pat pat.
Rest were self close shots. So here are the pictures by me ...
