World Record Fireworks in Dubai

Hello dear blog buddies,
                                    How have you been? Good? Yes I hope it's good, well you say No !!! , hey it's fine we all have good and bad days, just let the ones not in control pass by, you know you gave it your best. Ain't it.
        Lately, my life has just been hectic and all about feeling tired, each day, with multiple tasks ahead, but I know,it's all a matter of organizing to achieve results.So to all you folks, feeling incomplete with all the errands up the shoulder accruing each day, may be, just maybe it's all about prioritizing..
         Look at me, today I just feel,my day is gonna be better with a blog post to start with, which had been pent up for long.So here comes my pics that had been clicked exactly around the start of the New year 2014. :D
We went to watch the fireworks, it was a World record( Previous record held by Kuwait ). We loved the view. It was surreal and felt like a dream. But I couldn't stand out long b'coz it was very very cold, so enjoyed the view from the car while we had a ride along the path. The moment was just AMAZING !!!

Al Ain Zoo - A Road Trip - Part 2

This the second part to my road trip, the first being here.
It's been a very lazy week for me,because I haven't resumed my work-out into regularity, I hope to be starting from tom,had enough of enjoyment and resting days. I think to look more and more better, I just gotta keep working harder and harder.
I am glad for my journey till here- lost 7kgs till now {feeling good }, still have more to go....that's the update from my side.Now i just get on to the second series of the pictures.....check it out

Al Ain Zoo - A Road Trip - Part 1

This was the first road trip to Al Ain, I had heard about it so much, and had not been there since my 3 year tenure in UAE. Al Ain which is not an emirate is known thus for it's lush green landscape,and hence the name "Garden city". It's a beautiful place, I saw plants all along the roads up to Al Ain while travelling from Dubai.
Once there..it was exotic, mostly villas ( the regular brown ones), with lush greenery..WOW..it was just peaceful and nice.For once I felt it was something similar to places I had seen on-road to Bangalore.
The features that awaken you are:-

• The neat and wide roads( which of course is abundant in UAE).
• The plants along the high way.
• The lights on trees...almost every alternate ones....nights are awesome with these illuminated trees around.
• The cool weather ( right now it's awesome)
• The rustic environment with serene nature

We started by 11 and reached there by noon. And for the first time I wore shorts outside(I've never worn shorts outside).........and DANG...what do you know...as I entered the Zoo premises, a Zoo security requested if I could cover up-til my knees because it's against the norms to wear shorts in Al Ain Zoo. And though I was pissed off,because my first attempt at shorts ,and for it to become a bummer, was putting off my "shorts" trial to a zilch, when the security kept apologizing a lot for asking me to do so.....coz one thing I have noticed after coming to UAE is that Filipino and shorts are inseparable. Any age , any temperature, they are out in shorts.and I understood, why she was being very apologetic, she was so sweet and sorry I didn't mind it(it seemed courteous). I was like awwww....I understand..now where do I go and get something to cover myself up. And she guided us to a gift shop that had some scarfs, I got one black scarf and wrapped it around...and tadaaaaa....I was all ready to go zoo walking.

And my hubby ,was like " Didn't I say so , when we started" and I was like "jajajajaja" (*Grunt* smartpants), and let's just get going with my scarf skirt,shall we !!!!

And so we embarked on our zoo trip...

And rest I will take you through with pictures, we had exhausted our camera memory with pics, so I have put the trip picture posts in parts, so that I can show you as many as I can.

FlashBack - Burj Khalifa

I am ailing from a very bad FLU  for quite a few days.Lost almost 2.5 pounds,just being sick and feeling SICK. I hate being sick, coz for one it spoils all our plans , and then being bed ridden and doing nothing,but just waiting it out, is really boring. We are having a long holiday here...Why you ask? Well, the first being

1. UAE NATIONAL DAY (2 days )
2. DUBAI WON EXPO 2020 ( So the ruler declared a day off)

And these two hols, have the week-ends sandwiched between them , giving us a total of 4 days, it would have been wonderful, I probably would have been going out,dressing up and clicking pictures, but instead, I am home sick. But on the brighter side,I am glad I am sick on a holiday,coz being sick and not being able to do chores when schools and offices operate, can stress us out.So as I lie here, being taken care of,listening to some nice music,in the cool weather..I bring out some pics of last year,when my in-laws visited DUBAI.

Note:- I was a lot chunkier last year  (still am fat....my regular readers,you know I am bringing it down..don't you :D ..good ) , but the good thing in these pics is I have long hair.Also I have my in laws pics for yaaalll..check it out

Leopard Print & skinny jeans

I am happy to bring another blog post this week. As you all look forward to enjoying your weekend , I bring to you my OOTD during my visit to The Dolphinarium. The show was an amazing 40 minutes, with the dolphins stealing the show every second, though there were seals initially.
